This album somewhat didn't want to let go of me.
I buy DSBM very seldom; I prefer my stuff, well, heavier. But I'm an emotional creature too: the heaviest riffs won't do if there's no feelings behind them. Here you get feelings aplenty.
Apparently I've connected. YomaBarr
This is an absolute gem, and I'm so glad I found it. Every aspect of this music is beautifully rendered, and the instrumental performances are almost virtuoso level. (The guitar leads in particular are stunning.) RIYL: Sadness and/or Alcest, which is basically the absolute highest praise possible. I could have gone with either of the first two tracks for my favorite: "Memorial" is the big statement and an easy 10/10, but I'm giddily hooked on "Sorry," which sparkles like sunlight on a lake. sacer_x
